All right, first person to apply using the new Method.

How did you find the wiki? Me and my friends are planning a rpg setting based on the Foundation. Doesn't really answer the question, and it kind of makes me leary right off the bat.

What has Dr. Clef claimed to be? A reality Shaper. Not the answer I was looking for, but still an answer.

Which Mobile Task Force has to be proficient in sports and children's card games? Mobile Task Force Lambda-4 I think this one is right.

Please name two Admins, and state their alignments. Dr.Clef and Dr. Gears…what the hell is an alignment? Someone didn't read the newbie guide very well.

What triggered the 'Great Researcher Prank War of '09" and who is currently in the lead? Scp-50 and Dr. Hyrule Correct

What Foundation rival believes it is doing gods will? Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution or the Church of the Broken God Correct

What is your favorite SCP, and why? I have to say I will always hold a special place in my heart for 294-the coffee machine. I just found all the culture references hilarious and just how well written it was.

What is your least favorite SCP, and why? hm….i do hate all the joke scps with a passion just cause it took nothing to make a scp out of many of those references to popular culture but I really don't have a least favorite. I do dislike the fact that some scps have no hint to there purpose or what they do because of data expunged. Sometimes I wish more would be told.

Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a college student and avid roleplayer. The reason I got into the Scps was because of the idea to have a campaign based off of them. If ya want once we figure it out we can post the rules.

Overall… I feel iffy about this guy, very on the fence. Opinions?

Also on the fence. The only part he really missed was the alignments, but a) that's from the Guide to Newbies and b) SCP Wiki != RPG site.

I was obsessed with SCPs and Holder's from /x/ and after a quick Google search found this wiki. Meh on the Holders thing.

In an interview he insinuated to be Satan or the equivilent. Also to be an SCP himself. Correct

My favorite is a tie. My first choice is SCP-914 simply because I know that if I had real life access to something of that kind, I would spend my entire life tinkering with possibilities. Second is SCP-2558-J because, well, I like kittens.

My least favorite that I have found (emphasis on that part) is SCP-343, not because of any flaw in writing or style but because I dislike the idea of something in "Special Containment Protocol" that is not in any way actually contained nor can be.

I'm 19, Sophomore in college for Computer Science. Despite being a septic in most any paranormal field, I still find it fascinating with emphasis on the occult. That is what led me to find the Holder's and SCP wikis. I enjoy a good argument but I know when I start to get annoying, and if I don't realize it, I want people to tell me.

Sounds like an okay one to me.

One time, while going on my rare excursions to 4chan, someone posted SCP-173, and a link to the wiki that was before this one. When that wiki closed down, I moved to this one.

Well, I'm probably wrong here but Task Force Nu-1 needs to be proficient in probability, which if you're proficient in card games and sports, then you're pretty good with probability. Completely wrong

Hmm, this one is a bit hard. I'm never good with favorites, so I dunno, I'll name a couple.
SCP-354, the Red Pool. A whole lotta fun coming out of one pool, eh? Yeah, I like it mostly because of the psychotically written journal linked to its interior. Sounds like fun.
SCP-093, the Red Sea Object. Once again, it's an extradimensional object with a fashion for creepiness, especially the large faceless Unclean, and how the corrupt government partially led to the downfall of life.
I also enjoy the cute ones, like "Eye-pods", Josie and Carl, Puff kittens, you know, as a break from the creepy once in a while.

SCP-122-D, Large Canine.
I wrote that one, and, honestly, I don't even know what I was thinking at the time. Sure, it got decommissioned, but, I still can't help but feel discontent at the quality of it, and how I could've done much better.

Hmm… I'm in high school 4.0 and all that jazz. Bored out of my mind during the summer, so I deviate my time between hundreds of websites, this one included… Uh, I'm a nice guy, a little sarcastic and cynical at times.

And I'm hella hot. Right-o.

I've been in this community for a while, and, well, honestly, I enjoy reading and commenting on the SCPs, and would love to also rate them and stuff.

Overall, I think he needs to lurk more, and try again

I think SCP-231 for the shear psychological horror aspect and graphic illustration of what can be needed to safeguard the world at large. Other can be fun or funny, serious and chilling but /brrr/ this is Class-A disturbing.

SCP-009. Given the possibilities 'knife which makes you want to stab people, defeated by putting it in a box' is a little dull (no pun intended), especially one with the force of history and presumably some effect on it.

Haven't read the whole SCP site yet, that's a bit of a mammoth undertaking. Otherwise I'm a 33 year old scientist who still does TTG role-playing and other creative stuff all the time although I still can't draw. I'm usually in the IRC channel as "Agent_Wilkes" for most of the (GMT+13) day, not sure how that matches up with most other users.

On the fence, what do y'all say?

Actually, Dr. Clef did claim at one point that he was a reality warper dedicated to counteracting other reality warpers, so I think "An anti-reality shifter" is technically correct. Not the obvious answer of "the Devil", but still a valid answer.

I too am on the fence, but I think might only need a hint that he should reread the Know Your Admins part of the Newbie Guide.

On a side note, is there any particular reason why I'm the only user specifically named on the entrance questionnaire? I mean, Gears already complains that TVTropes thinks this site is the Dr. Clef Fan Club. I'd rather not encourage that viewpoint.

I also have five application on the page, but there is no indication that these people have applied to join the website, so I'd be unable to approve them no matter their application.

I'd say post those you are unclear on, or those that are being declined. Those that pass I'd say we can just welcome in. Also, are these going to your personal email, or is there a separate account? Would it be a good idea to have a "group account" we can all use for this process, or a way to send them to multiple individual accounts? I just don't want you to get swamped by this stuff…

Is there a way to reply with these forms, and let people know they need to actually apply to the site as well? It seems pretty clearly stated…

They don't go to email, they get automatically entered into a Google Docs spreadsheet when they're submitted. PM me your Google account name and I'll give you access.

One of the questions is for a user's Wikidot.com user name, so we could use that to send them messages.
