Purpose:
In the vote to Delete Bright's List, it was determined that The List should be deleted and that we should "replace the page with some sort of warning or message." This was a very broad solution, and there were many many many opinions about what they warning or message should be (more than 100 separate opinions just on-site). I've combed through these, weighed the options and come up with the below proposal. Please see the previous discussion thread for context and justifications.
Proposal:
My proposal is in three parts:
1. I propose that we blank https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/the-things-dr-bright-is-not-allowed-to-do-at-the-foundation and have it redirect to an new url - /bright-list-deletion-message.
2. I propose that the contents of /bright-list-deletion-message be this explanation, apology, timeline, and link to a resource.
3. I propose that we create an official guide on identifying abuse, how to report it, and how to get help to match or closely follow this page.
