This is an update proposal for the Contribute page.

Updates:

• Renewed aesthetic to match Front Page
• Removed the preamble to narrow scope regarding the page's area of focus
• Removed Translations block, as it seems unnecessary regarding Contribute's demographic
• Added a block referring to commenting/critiquing and becoming a reviewer
• Restructured the info across all the blocks

Additional notes

• Some footer slots are currently left blank. Should they be linked to some pages? Should other footer links be changed to something else?

The discussion will last for 7 days, after which the described items will be implemented unless serious concerns are raised. In the event of negative or split opinions on a proposed items, it will not be implemented.

Is there someplace that 'Tech Team approval' in the third footnote could link to? If so, I think that would make sense to add.

I don't see why title is capitalized here.

Also I feel like "a series of technical articles describing the various anomalous objects, entities, and phenomena contained by the Foundation" is a rather outdated way of thinking of SCPs, it would be nice if it were described more along the lines of "a series of short stories styled like technical articles describing the various anomalies contained by the Foundation."

We still get a ton of new people who only think of SCPs as those same five garbage creepypastas from over a decade ago, and I really don't think the how-to-make-a-new-page page should be reinforcing that misconception.

I echo Ethagon's idea about the footnote, and like the rework as a whole. I also think that it's asking a lot of any single page to try and change the conception of some new folks seeing the site through the creepypasta lens, but the phrasing might be adjusted to be more general to reflect the mood of the wiki today.

It's also a silly thing, but I like that the aesthetic matches the front page now. Design like that always makes things look more professional and intentional.

I could have been more specific, it wasn't about trying to explain to people that SCPs have changed since series one. I just don't want this page to be actively feeding into that delusion.
