This thread is a result of the investigation and subsequent recommendations regarding the November 2020 Disciplinary Incident, available in full detail here. It is recommended staffers consult that thread for full context before commenting here. Additionally, staffers may consult the exhaustive timeline of events for further detail if needed.
Tuomey Tombstone does not match any existing user name was not involved heavily in the case initially, and primarily became an important part of the discussion around the time the second O5 thread was being drafted. His actions were in many ways comparable to Malyce's: he was one of the loudest venters, complainers, and insulters, to a lesser-but-still-inappropriate degree. He was, along with Malyce, an important part of the Disciplinary Team's insular culture of treating its staff space as a sidechat (private chat space for friends) and its hostility to the rest of staff, and grounding it as a "stronghold" where participants could discuss and strategize how to respond against the "opposition" in staff chat and the community.
- With all this in mind, it is the recommendation of the group that Tuomey receive the following Disciplinary consequences:
- Removal from staff in poor standing. (Would require administrative review prior to potentially rejoining staff)
The specifics of this punishment and the passage thereof are the subject of this thread. This thread will be open for seven days and is open to all OS+.
