On 01/08/2022 DrBleep initiated a conversation requesting Admin Fiat to change promotion dates. This change consisted of general week positions in the relevant month as opposed to hard coded dates. The original promotion schedule was designed with hard dates in mind, see below:
Promotions to operational staff and moderator will be conducted according to the following schedule:
Winter Promotions:
January 24-31 nominee submission week
February 1-8 interviews
February 9-16 votingSpring/Summer Promotions:
May 24-31 nominee submission week
June 1-8 interviews
June 9-16 votingFall Promotions:
September 23-30 nominee submission week
October 1-8 interviews
October 9-16 voting
The original schedule was designed and implemented on a Sunday-Sunday basis, allowing uninterrupted nomination, interviews, and voting times to occur during the work week. However, with hard dates, the schedule rolls from Sunday to Sunday, to Monday to Monday, so on and so forth. This is somewhat inconvenient to both the promotion runners, and staffers voting. As a result, DrBleep requested authorization/utilization of Admin Fiat to change this schedule so as to indicate the week placement within the end of each month. This alters promotion schedules to be as follows:
Each period will begin on Sunday and end the following Sunday
Winter Promotions:Last week of January Nomination submission
First week of February interviews
Second Week of February votingSpring/Summer Promotions:
Last Week of May Nomination Submission
First Week of June interviews
Second Week of June votingFall Promotions:
Last Week of September Nomination Submission
First week of October interviews
Second Week of October voting
This request was met with some initial discussion regarding the need for this change, however; five admins assented to the change including DrBleep.
Assenting admins were as follows:

Delay in record composition and changing the actual policy is due to the requester having been occupied with real life duties. I apologize for that.
