LazyBird 13 recently posted an article entitled 'Deus Vult', about an object that compels people to attack the city of Jerusalem. For record-keeping, a copy of the articles code is included below:

SCP-6484

Object Class: Safe

**Special Containment Procedures**: SCP-6484 is to be contained in a standard containment locker in Site-64. Any personal with a clearance level of 3 and that don’t follow any form of Christianity is free to test with SCP-6484.

**Description**: SCP-6484 is a white flag with a yellow cross on it with the words “Deus Vult” written on the front. When any Christian comes close to SCP-6484, they will have the compulsive reaction to attack Jerusalem and recruit others to assist them. Depending on the type of Christian will give the leader certain powers including flight, time warping abilities, class 2 reality warping, super speeds reaching 200 km per second, and a weapon based off of what the user is best at, any followers will also gain the same abilities just to a much lesser extent. After 2 hours of separation from the flag, the leader will go back to normal and the crusade will disband.

The following is a list of how the different type of Christians react to SCP-6484

(Eastern) Orthodox – Little chance of recruitment outside of the (Eastern) Orthodox, little to no anomalous abilities granted. 

Catholic – Strong recruitment outside of Catholic, some anomalous abilities given including class 1 reality warping.

Protestant – 100% chance to recruit any Christian in a 50 km radius around the flag. All powers listed above are granted including class 2 reality warping.

**Test Log**

Test 1-A: SCP-6484 was presented to SCP-343. SCP-343 smiled and said “Nice flag.” When nothing occurred, SCP-6484 was removed from the room.

Test proposal 1-B: SCP-6484 was to be presented to Pope Francis, it was turned down by Dr. Pvoll because the effects could be to catastrophic.

** Addendums**

**Full site Containment Breach, 3325**: On 9/24/2021, a Protestant male named Mauresmo Westerberg, came in contact with SCP-6484 during an investigation with him for another SCP. He immediately ran towards the flag, which protected him from the MTF squad firing at him. The flag created crusader armor and a fire mace reaching temperatures of 93°C. All personnel and D-Class in a 50 km radius began making their way to Mauresmo, failing the containment of almost every SCP on site. The group then proceeded to teleport to Jerusalem where they started to kill the terrorist organizations. After 5 hours of continuous fighting, all terrorist organizations were slain. MTF “No Biggie” was sent to Jerusalem to retrieve SCP-6484. After 20 minutes of separation from the Flag, Mauresmo still possessed the anomalous. properties. Mauresmo, now designated SCP-6484-1, is to be left alone for now as he has saved Jerusalem from terrorist control however if things get out hand, he is to be put down by any means necessary.

'Deus Vult' and other similar media concerning the city of Jerusalem are very common white nationalist dog whistles. Per the judgment of SCP Disciplinary staff, and our site's zero-tolerance policies regarding hate groups, the user has been issued a permanent ban.
