[Discussion] Refreshing the Comprehensive Guide Hub
As per MAST's effort to improve guide hub(s?), the current Comprehensive Guide Hub has come to our attention as being somewhat haphazardly organized. As such, efforts to reorganize it will be made.
Proposed Changes
- Split off Licensing into its own subsection, and moved Licensing Guide, Image Use Policy and Nico's Guide there. Was previously Staff Information & Licensing, which makes little sense, pairwise.
- Removed Fixing Logins under Community and Navigation, as it was made obsolete.
- Moved Adult Page Guide, previously at Staff Information & Licensing(???), to Community and Navigation.
- Reorganized all the essays under User-created Essays on the Writing Process to more appropriate places under Writing Guides, Critter Resources, Misc. Essays and vice versa.
- Converted Interviewing Icons, a more recently updated series, into ListPages.
- Split Miscellaneous into further further subsections.
Other areas of Improvement
- Community and Navigation seems awkward.
- User-created Essays on the Writing Process is still a very big list. Possible further division needed?
The refresh discussion will last for one week, after which the described changes (and further reasonable proposals) will be implemented unless serious concerns are raised. In the event of split opinions, a vote will be held to decide the outcome.
