In my position as Reserve, I sometimes rarely interacte with administrator candidates. This is fine, and to be expected from a Reserve Admin. I say this only to highlight that with almost every single (non-admin-exclusive) staff function that I've given any kind of advice on or even been aware of, Bleep has been helping out in some way.
This includes many staff functions that are truly difficult to handle — such as the massive infrastructure updates that are listed earlier in this thread. Or the Anti-Harassment Team, one of the emotionally hardest and most grueling roles on the site.
Bleep has a highly developed skill set and a huge deal of experience, on top of an excellent track record. Here, I'll echo Soulless' post here laying this out explicitly, and co-sign Soulless' assessment. Bleep is insightful, compassionate, and extraordinarily capable.
Perhaps most importantly of all, she tries to address any errors she makes and improve going forward.
As was done for me when I became administrator, I will include a suggestion. Speaking from experience, it's easy to forget that words land differently from an administrator vs a moderator. It's easy to forget how intimidating it is when an Administrator yells at someone, and how upsetting and demoralizing that can be. So: Remember to be kind, even when it may not be fully deserved.
In summary: Bleep is hyper-qualified for the administrator position and has more than earned it. She has my highest recommendation and I'm excited to see what she'll do.
