This is in no way related to my SCP, which I'd like to thank you for helping me with, and by the way I left a second reply you may want to see. Anyhow, I contacted another member of the Anti-Harrassment team a few days ago, still no reply, so I'm contacting you now because you're also on the team and I actually have spoken to you before via forum. Allow me to copy and paste the message I sent to your associate: I believe I've been banned from the IRC chatrooms, I'm not 100% sure. I'm still new here. A staff member targeted me because of my name for no reason at all, I proceed to argue with them in a CIVILIZED manner, I was then promptly kicked out by @Corvus with the message "Fuck right off". I now can't access ANY channels. I've read the rules and I believe I was entirely in line, and they've abused their power to kick me out, and restricted me from every channel. I looked at the rules and the rules state they should have warned me FIRST, before banning me, in fact, banning is the very last punishment. I was apparently kicked for "behavior indistinguishable from trolling",when I wasn't trolling anyone at all. I joined the SCP Foundation to write what I think is an amazing SCP idea. But now I can't even ask staff for help anymore when I need it. Please help me.

Sorry, I'm not a chat operator, so I can't reverse any chat-related decisions.
I looked at the rules and the rules state they should have warned me FIRST, before banning me, in fact, banning is the very last punishment.
The Rules and Guidelines tab of this page: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/chat-guide states of the standard escalation, "Operators may decide to follow or ignore this at their discretion."
That said, I was informed that your username is a fascist dogwhistle, and that you declined to change it after being asked. Is there a reason for your insistence on keeping the name?

I was never asked to change it actually. They simply stated that they were surprised I hadn't changed it. How is my user name even a fascist dogwhistle? That makes no sense to me. I'm not even a Deus Vult white supremacist or a Zionist. I'm actually a Muslim which makes me the enemy of both of those as well as fascism. On top of that, I simply made this my username to tribute my first ever SCP, which you know about, had it become a successful part of the SCP Foundation. I certainly haven't made any Fascist comments either. I think it's entirely unfair and that this is absolutely harassment because they discriminated against me for my username, THEY approached ME, after all I did was politely ask a staff member of site-17 a question. There was no reason for them to approach me about my username. All I was met with is discrimination, rudeness, a ban, and a message to go with it telling me to fuck off. Now you tell me who deserved to be banned. An innocent muslim SCP writer who made no fascist or other wise rule breaking comments or actions, or a bunch of moderators who decided to tell me to fuck off and banned me after approaching me for no reason. Use your common sense, sir. I was entirely respectful to you, was I not? I did not base my SCP off of Fascism or white supremacy or Deus Vult, or Zionism. They had absolutely no reason, what so ever to ban me. If that chat room has chat logs, check them. If they took screenshots, ask for them. Because I certainly didn't. I didn't say or do anything that would make me feel the need to take screenshots to defend myself. My behavior and the current situation just didn't make a screenshot common sense. Thank you for your time.,

If that chat room has chat logs, check them.
The logs are located in the public staff forum here: http://05command.wikidot.com/forum/t-13983637/guardianofjerusalem
If you would like to appeal the chat ban, you may do so in #site17.
[Side note: I wasn't aware that their behavior was so egregious that they were no longer permitted in #site17. Apologies for the confusion on my part—though I'm still kind of confused why they continued to contact me after I stated I wasn't chatstaff.]

But like I said I can't even access site 17 or any other site. How am I supposed to appeal if I can't even sign in as a guest. They IP banned me. And that moderator LIED. I did inquire has to why I was declined at first, but it wasn't due to my username at all. In fact it was simply because I added my first name and the wrong passcode. They straight lied in their report, and there is no reason to discriminate against me for something others have done, not myself. Jerusalem has a universal meaning, and being banned like this because it's used by white nationalists is extremely unfair and I am, respectfully sir, pissed the fuck off. Excuse me for my french, I'm just so shocked on how lies and power abuse could have gone this far with no regards to evidence or past behavior. I'll do my best to appeal, thank you for your help.
It say's I've been completely banned from SkipIRC. What am I supposed to do? I didn't even deserve to get banned. I didn't deserve to even get punished. I was more polite and civil then the mod them self, this is unbelievable.

I checked with chatstaff and it looks like you have a permanent ban from all channels due to a ban evasion attempt as well. Again, since I'm not part of the chat moderation team, there's not much else I can do here except maybe forward the text of your ban appeal, if you wish to make such an appeal.
—-
How did I try to evade the ban? Are they being serious? Look, sir. I want your honest opinion, do you think, based off of the chat logs and my behavior and work so far, that their claims to banning me are valid? This is absolutely ridiculous. Also, what exactly should my appeal be composed of? What am I addressing? What is the general guide to making an appeal?

Look, sir. I want your honest opinion, do you think, based off of the chat logs and my behavior and work so far, that their claims to banning me are valid?
Based on your vehemence thus far in both the chat logs and your messages to me, I would have to say yes, the ban is valid.
what exactly should my appeal be composed of?
State why you believe the ban should be shortened or removed.
What is the general guide to making an appeal?
There is no guide for appeals.
