Elevator Pitch: A few decades ago a boy was kidnapped, killed, and eaten by a serial killer. His backpack seeks revenge against the type of killer who killed its owner. When given to a sacrifice on the anniversary of his death, the sacrifice meets the ghost of his owner, they talk, and the boy walks off as the sacrifice ossifies and crumbles in the wind. If it doesn't have a sacrifice, then it explodes, with the explosion becoming bigger each year a sacrifice is missed.Central Narrative: A boy was slain by a serial killer. The backpack was imbued with the fear of its owner and seeks to kill those similar to the man who killed his owner. […]
They received two placeholders, one of which stated would be filled when the first review was given. The first reviewer had to delay their critique and noted as such two days ago, and the user posted: http://www.scpwiki.com/forum/t-13854202/exploding-backpack#post-4816600
Still waiting …
After which they were addressed by staff, and responded:
Catch-22 on that: On one hand, you're correct in that I'm not owed a review. On the other, by putting a place holder on it, the two have apparently caused other reviewers to assume it's taken care of.
So it's not so much a "vagueposting" as a "can anyone else check this out?". Yeah, there are better ways of stating it, and I'm aware you guys are dealing with a lot of posts, but it's aggravating from the other side as well. It's great to see you guys are looking for more reviewers to deal with the situation, but there needs to be better communication on both sides….
Of note, they were also fairly flippant in the mentorship flights thread: http://www.scpwiki.com/forum/t-13816866/want-to-earn-greenlighting-privileges-and-or-choose-next-mon#post-4816241
Flight: I would like Flight 2.
Why: I hate being practical, but something needs to be done about all these entries in the pipeline.
Commander: Zyn (was able to actually talk to the person).
Keep an eye on.
