User MisterBibs has returned from a multi-year break and reacted with excessive snark to their images being taken down for no attribution in accordance with the licensing policy.
Going to restore it, since it's, you know, a photo I took. Of myself. And nobody even bothered attempting to find the person who made it (me) to ask if I was given permission by the person who made it (me), and that's something rather silly to fail at doing.
In response to an admin basically calling them out for their dickery (who has recused himself from this)
It's okay, I too tend to miss the site's ability to contact other users before vandalizing their pages.

and in response to being told to knock it off by me, in the same thread:
Well, we run into the fun situation of doing their jobs being contacting the person in question. Big blinking (1) comes up, person responds, voila. I mean, had I not noticed something like that, I would've certainly been in the wrong.
But I mean, it's no big thing, innit. The page was corrected and the vandalism was fixed. Sure, it took a few more steps for needful doing of the job in question, but hey.
ProcyonLotor formally asked this matter be brought up for disciplinary action, with three disc staff agreeing a formal warning is warranted here. Further snark/dickery should be considered for escalation.
