So… as of now, there are 3 improperly deleted articles on the mainlist:
- http://www.scp-wiki.net/deleted:scp-1213-j
- http://www.scp-wiki.net/deleted:scp-1993-j
as well as a page that was entirely blank, posted long enough ago that it accumulated a rating of -29 before I wiped it. It had a deletion timer with three votes and a couple good-natured shitposts.
To make clearing up clutter and deletions less of a hassle, I would like to suggest the following:
Allow staff to post witness comments on improperly-deleted articles when noticed, so a mod/admin running deletions doesn't need to take an extra step to ask for them. (e.g., a post that reads "operational/mod/admin staff, providing a witness for improper deletion if needed")
Allow staff deletion post votes to count as witnesses in the event of improper deletion.
Thoughts?
