Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP 2122 is to be kept in a special modified safe that is to be opened using 3 non magnetic keys that change holders frequently. any further instances of SCP 2122 are to be stored in the same manner or disposed of. Testing is to be done in a mock living room setting by approved personnel only with the permission of both the site director and the head researcher. Personnel who handle the subject or are exposed to it are to be detained and watched for at least 48 hours after testing for an extensive psychological test and to see if they become violent
Description: SCP-2122 is a board game of unknown manufacturer called "Sexual Pursuit" in a 9 centimeter x 9 centimeter cardboard box,
Included in the box are:
1. 1 blue male figure,
2. 1 pink female figure,
3. 2 six sided dice with standard numbering,
4. a set of cards with various instructions,
5. a rule book written in several languages as well as several unknown languages at this time.
6. one game board with a spiral design as the playing field
Note- The rule book included has been written in these languages: English, Russian, German, French, Japanese, Chinese, Polish, Hebrew, Arabic, Spanish, Greek, Latin, Turkish, Indian, Portuguese, Cuneiform, Ancient Egyptian, Old English, as well as several unknown languages to this time period.
note: the cards always reflex the language of the players even if it is two players of different lingual backgrounds
SCP-2122 seems to be able to induce players if they are loving couple to have sex no matter if the couple is on a celibacy cycle, got into a fight leading to separation, or any other circumstances which ceases copulation. When playing they seemed to be in total contentment and bliss and and twenty-four (24) hours after exposure to SCP-2122, violence and fighting resume leading to hospitalization or death of one or both of the involved affected.
It was first recovered by SCP personnel from a house belonging to a young couple in {censored}, japan. When questioned they say they bought the game from a yard-sale. History of the subject has been traced back to the circa 1917 but not always in the present state. When tracing the maker of the game it will always lead to one of two outcomes. 1. a dead end before 1917 2. a maker with no number listed or doesn't exist yet.
Cases have existed of strange murders and accidents relating to the subject, but all cases have either been solved or left cold. SCP Personnel are to respond to any instances of a "board game" being involved and investigate. If other instances of SCP-2122 are found they are to be secured or if securing is not possible they are to destroy the instance of SCP 2122.
Experimentation has been sparse due to finding personnel that actually feel the effects of the game's siren call and fit the ideal requirements for the games effect to take hold, apparently it doesn't effect everyone the same way depending on the stage of the relationship they are in when they are exposed to the subject. Ideal subjects are young adults who are madly in love, married, or have some how had a fight. Testing on different sexual preferences will happen upon greater understanding of the main effects of the SCP.
Researcher’s Note: Can we please get some test subjects to test this on I am sick and tired of looking through the various documents and reports that have been given to us by the field teams, some testing is in order to fully understand this subject –Dr. Bimston
