As the wiki has grown, we've seen the pace of pages posted increase on a continuous basis. On a busy day, an article might not even get a few hours on the front of recently created pages before it's swept away by the current of new pages being posted. This is especially true for pages which aren't SCPs, like Tales, already less likely to be read and much more likely to be quickly forgotten once they fall from recently created's page one.
I propose that we break down the Recently Created into four categories: SCP Articles, Tales, GoI Formats, and everything else(author pages, hubs, art pages, etc.)
This would allow for every page to have its moment in the sun, and for people looking for a certain type of page to find them more easily. Tales, which are posted less frequently, will get a much longer moment in the sun, doubly so for GoI formats. I could even see this encouraging more people to write these types of stories, since they'll be much more accessible from the starting line.
I've got a mockup of what this could look like HERE, but obviously Tech team and any other relevant party would be consulted and have the final say in how it would look and function to be most effective.
If anyone has alternate suggestions for categories, alternate methods of organization or what-have-you I'm open to anything.
